New Year Brings New Law re: Virtual Board Meetings

As you prepare for your January Board meetings, remember that in order to legally meet virtually, the “first” meeting notice must be sent out via “individual notice” (either by mail or by email to those owners who have consented to receive notice via email), and shall contain the following information:

  1. Date/time of meeting
  2. Agenda
  3. Joining instructions for video/audio and telephone
  4. NEW- email address and telephone number of person who can provide technical assistance before and during meeting
  5. NEW- reminder that a member may request “individual delivery” of future meeting notices, and how to do so

Subsequent meeting notices may be posted, as usual, at least 4 days prior to such meeting, but should contain the information noted above.  Also remember that all director votes must be taken by “roll call”. If you need our assistance, or have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Happy New Year!
